I have an intermittent high pitched whine coming from an internal extractor fan. I had the fan replaced but I still get an intermittent whine, even when the fan is switched off. Do you know what would be causing this? Is this a job for an electrician or a builder since it doesn't seem to be immediately related to the fan?
