I'd like to extend the work surface of my desk by placing a cupboard behind it. A base kitchen cabinet is the right height, but it's top is open. I need to create a top for it, but also to conceal the join between the desk and the cabinet. Is there a product that I could lay over both pieces that would be hard enough for a work surface but thin enough to not raise the height of the desk? Thank you.
