Basically, we are trying to drill through 3 thick timber sleepers so we can put dowel rods in to hold them together. We have a Bosch rotary hammer drill and a 25mm auger bit but when we tried it today the drill kept stalling and Made a burning smell and the drill bit isn’t moving. Does anyone know what we’re doing wrong?
