Immersion problems

Posted by Sarah Stark, on
Immersion heater blows fuse wire within 24 hours. Immersion tank & element replaced in October & element replaced again in jan. What could it be? Ie plumber or sparky? House built in 83 & has a fuse box with 6 or 7 cartridges. Uses fuse wire - immersion has it's own circuit

Hi Sarah I would recomend to post a job on main website because some of a job needs to be seen before any advice is given. Our service is free of charge with no obligation quote and our tradesmans are happy to help with every aspects of jobs. I would strongly recomend to post a job on Rated People home page then 3 companies will get in touch then you would be able to choose the right person as you would receive an e mail with a link to tradesman account where you would see a pictures and you will read revious from previous customers. I hope this will help Best regards Rafal

Sarah This sounds like your element might not be at the correct setting or is too powerful for the current electrical set up you have causing your fuse/ wire to blow. I would advise to get an electrician out to the fault as its an electrical problem not a plumbing issue. Regards Check- IT Electrical
