Hi D You only need to turn the lighting circuit off but unless your 100% confident turn the main switch off. If in any doubt at all best to consult a electrician. Thanks Russ

I need to replace a bulb which burnt out, so the metallic part is still in the light fitting. I know that I need to switch off the mcb for the lighting circuit before doing this, but do I also need to switch the main switch on the circuit breaker? many thanks. .
