My condenser dryer keeps tripping my electric who do I call out and how much would it be

Hi Laura, When you say its trips do you mean your RCD or mcb or fuse for that circuit. I would say its tripping the RCD- this detects earth leakage whereas the mcb or fuse will only trip on overload or short circuit but without being there can't say for sure. Everything appliance with an heating element will have some small earth leakage as standard,happen 5/10 milli amps.If you have a few appliances working at the same time this may cause it to trip. Your RCD will be a 30 milli amp and will trip out when its reaches that figure for your safety Try plugging something else into the same socket to determine if its a problem with your socket or the actual dryer itself. If it is the dryer it would depend on the age of the appliance as to its worth to getting an engineer out to it or not. Hope this helps a little Russ
