Hi Al, As most light switch cabling comes down the wall it will be easy to move your switch a little higher. It shouldn't take a decent electrician very long but he will need to issue you with a MWC (Minor Works Cert) on completion of the work.Cost will vary depending how big a company you use but expect to pay 30 pound or so Hope this helps a little Russ
