Hi Scott, If you feel confident to do the job then yeah there is nothing stopping you from doing this. If you have any doubts at all though then consult a qualified electrician and get them to do it. Better to get them to do it from the start rather than attempt it,make a mess and then have to contact an electrician to make it right.
