Hi Bradley, You will need to get this checked out by an electrician,doesn't sound like a simple DIY job. There is no point any of us second guessing how its wired. Sorry cant be of more help. Russ

How to wire a light with 3 core and earth? I have a security light with pir but want to change to a light without pir. So I have one extra wire now.

Depends how it was wired. Usually 3core & earth only used where there is a remote sensor or to feed another light. Unless thats the only cable they had when it was first wired. At minimum, you need to check the other end of the cable to see how it was connected, or get it checked properly by posting a job on here...
