Hi Shaughn It will make the job really hard work doing it room by room and it will be a lot more expensive. You are going to need to get carpets n floorboards up so you may as well do it once rather than keep doing it. Also if the cable is that old an electrician prob wont connect the old into the new anyway Hope that helps Russ
