Cooker hood light and fan not working

Posted by Edward Tickler, on
The light in the hood blew and made a loud bang noise and it tripped the fuse. I have replaced the bulb and reset fuse box but nothing neither the fan or lights are working?

Hi Edward, Which circuit tripped? Your kitchen sockets? Your cooker hood is probably fed via a fused spur. This looks a bit like a switch but has a little housing that the fuse fits in. If so this fuse will need checking. These are normally out out sight perhaps above the cooker hood. Hope this helps Russ
