Hi Ed Don't know what is happening here but this question has appeared 3 or 4 times now If your appliance is defiantly only 2 kw then it can be used via a 13a plug. As previously explained most domestic ovens now are plugged into a socket as they use very little power. Its the free standing bigger cookers that require their own dedicated circuit fed with bigger 6mm cable Thanks Russ
