Electrical

I want to move my shower to a different wall, can I leave the old wiring on the now unused wall there or do I have to remove it?

Hi Ash If your moving the shower it may be that the electrician removes the cable from the exsisting shower switch to the shower anyway before he puts the new cable in but if not its like Andrew says below Thanks

You should ensure the cable will stay permanently de-energised, or It needs to be terminated inside a suitable visible enclosure so the cable isn't easily accessible and no one will drill through the wall into a cable they did not know was there. It is better to remove it. Regards Andy
