Get someone with adequate competency to verify the power is off, inspect it internally, and dry it all off. Then re-instate if there is no damage or use a new socket fascia. regards, Andy
Spilt water onto electric plug socket - now making a crackling sound!

A plug socket in my bedroom is making crackling sounds after I accidentally spilt some water on it.
I've turned it off at the fuse box, which stops the crackling sound. What do I do now?
