A plug socket which the switches do not turn off, what does this mean?

HI Mike Just means the socket front needs changing as the switch contacts are welded together. Isolate the power to this socket by turning the mcb off or remove the fuse and change yourself if confident to do so,if not call an electrician,it wont cost much for them to do this for you. Thanks Russ
