Hi Lisa You would really need to get an electrician to have a look before he can give you a price. As Cony's reply there are a lot of things to take into account. The figures he's given are a rough guide as to what you could expect to pay. It may well be on the lower end of both figures but without seeing the job its hard to give a exact cost. To fit a new fuse box might cost you between 350-600 depending on the number of the circuits. To rewire an immersion heater (IH) and a shower, somewhere between 250-450, depending of the distance between the consumer unit and the shower/IH, depending of the access and the area where you live. Also take into account the decorating and making good, in case the electrician have to channel into walls to run the cables. Regards,
