Room Without Light or Sockets

Posted by Vince White, on
I have a small room that is next to my hall, it has no light from the ceiling, It has no sockets. It has a fuzebox (the modern ones with the switches), next door, the other side of one wall in the hallway is a socket that is active and works perfectly, there is a light in the hallway and a loft hatch. Can you tell me roughly how much this job could be done for? I don't have much money and don't want to get ripped off, on the other hand I do want the job done properly.

HI Vince Sorry its to say how much without seeing the job. If you havnt got a RCD on your sockets now you would need to install one if you wanted to fit a new socket. Also the earthing needs to be sufficent before any additions can be added. It really needs looking at but a quick figure providing everything was ok before starting would be in the region of £100 Thanks Russ
