Hi Shelly, The gas pipe would need isolating or capped off by a Gas Safe engineer first of all ( if its in the way) to allow an electrican to install you a supply pint for your fire. Hope this helps Russ

I currently have a fire surround and hearth, but no fire. I would like a electric fire installing but there is currently a gas pipe in place for a gas fire. Who would I need to do this job?
