How easy is it to switch from a gas to an electric oven?

I currently have a gas oven (I have a gas hob and I want to keep cooking on gas) but there aren't many on the market. How easy is it to change to electric?
Can I just buy an electric oven from a shop and the fitter will know how to change things or do I need to hire a gas man and electrician?
