By capable, I'm guessing auto correct has changed this from cable? Usually there is a small steel or plastic hinged cable box at the base of the appliance which allows connection to a suitable cable (usually 6mm twin and earth) taken from an outlet that has been provided via a cooker switch on the wall. Any connections must be done with the apparatus isolated from the mains. Ensure the cable and switch is correctly rated for your particular appliance. You need to check the power rating for the cooker which is KW and is marked on the appliance. If you are unsure about this contact a qualified electrician to check and/or install.
