Hi Rita, It doesn't matter what type of bulb you have and what wattage, the fire hoods are meant to stop a fire that wants to spread to the upper floors through the spotlights' holes. Rather than using fire hoods, it would cost you almost the same amount of money if you replace the existing light fittings with fire rated GU10 downlights to accommodate your existing LED bulbs.
