Hi Anne, You'll need a fused spur somewhere accessible, could be next to an existing socket, spurred off of that socket, and a connection outlet behind the cooker hood where to connect the flexible cable of the cooker hood. The connection outlet needs to be connected on the load side of the spur. As Adrian said it before, the 13 Amp fuse inside the fused spur, needs to be replaced with a 3 Amp fuse.
