Posted by Vicky Smith, on
At the moment I just have very hot water running through my shower and no matter what I do I cannot cool it down.

Vicky Found over the last few months the price you pay for a standard shower replacement to having the part changed is not worth the hassle. If the fault is as Tom has said deffenetly change the shower.

Hi vicky It sounds like the thermostatic control valve on your shower has failed Depending on the type/age of the shower it may be better to replace the entire shower rather than just the thermostat control Showers can be bought for as little as £50 now and with install cost by an electrician could be cheaper than fault finding and replacing the faulty parts
