Hi John Not a simple question that sorry There are a number of things that would need to be considered like checking like the earth bonding may need upgrading. The exsisting cables may need extending. You also may have earth faults on your system that now won't show but soon as a new modern unit with RCD is fitted will trip. You would be best to get somebody out to take a look n give you a price but you are prob be looking at £500 best case Make sure you use a registered spark as the job is notifiable under Part P Hope this helps a little
