Rough cost for replacing a bathroom extractor fan

Posted by mark cole, on
Hi I am considering updating the existing Bathroom extractor fan to one which has a timer/ humistat. The current fan is fed by 3 wires and I am aware that to use one with a timer I will need to have a 4 wire feed. I be interested in knowing the approximate cost to to have the fan fitted. many thanks

Hi Mark Shouldn't be a big job, the new fan would need a perm live as well as a switched live. Depending how your wiring is done it may just be a case of running a new 3 core n earth from the bathroom light. Obviously without seeing the job I would prob say you would get this done for under 50 pound

What would you like to do now?
