Hi The minimum certificate you should expect will be a minor works certificate. This will be issued for a small job i.e. Socket or light replacement, or where the isn't a new circuit involved. If he's installed a new circuit or replaced a consumer unit you should get an Electrical Installation Certificate. This is also notifiable under Part P You can check with the Electrical Safety Register to check if they are affiliated to a scheme or not. If he is you can report it and they will help you with this. Hi Edward, What work did you have done, not all remedial work requires certification, can you clarify what you had done.?
