SEPARATE LIGHT PIR FOR TWO EXISTING OUTSIDE LIGHTS

Posted by bob welden, on
Hi sparky's it's bill again. I have two outside lights running off the same feed and would like to add a pir sensor to them . My question is would i need two separate pir's for both lights or will one work as both lights are powered off one feed. regards bill

Hi bill Yes you can install one PIR for both lights. Depends also of the wireing. Do you have both lights connected in a junction box? Do you have access to the junction box? Are the lights connected in chain? Like you've got the feed to one light and from that light another cable to the second light?

What would you like to do now?
