EARTH BONDING A CENTRAL HEATING TOWEL RAIL

HI GUYS AND GIRLS, THE RAD IN MY BATHROOM IS BONDED AND I WANT TO SWAP FOR A TOWEL RAIL RUN ON C/H. MY QUESTION IS DOES THE TOWEL RAIL NEED BONDING AND IF SO WILL A WET AREA BONDING STRIP BE OK ON THE RAIL. REGARDS BILL

It would depend on your wiring setup. If you are complying to 16th edition for example no rcd on the lights then yes it would need to be bonded. If wired to 17th edition with rcd then it may not be needed but i would reccomend getting an electrician to confirm this.

Hi bill, No you dont need supplementary bonding to the towel rail, it should be bonded at your spur when connected to the mains
