Hi If the oven rating is above 3kw it will need its own dedicated circuit rather than a plug It would depend how far away the consumer unit is and the cable route etc. Hard to say without looking at it

We have a new oven in our bakery (which is based in a house). Whilst the manufacturers stated it could simply be plugged into a 13A socket, the oven is tripping the system. Just had a quote from a London firm who are asking for quite a large amount of money to run a wire from the circuit board into the living room and provide a plug.
What would the usual cost be for something like this?
