Hi. in simple term, a storage heater uses electricity during the off peak times to build up the heat in the storage heaters, and release the heat during peak times. a economy 7 meter is like a timer. it has preset times normally 12am – 7am to ensure the lowest rates are charged Any circuits being used on the economy 7 meter will not work between 7am – 12am (midnight) or as set on the meter.
