Posted by helen mitchell, on
I have twin red wire and 2single black wires coming from the ceiling and a fitting with 3comnector blocks I have tried to wire up the same as the old one with both reds in live and the other two in neutral but my electric keeps tripping where am I going wrong

Your 2 reds are your permanent live feeds, 1 black is your switch live coming from the switch so you need to put that in the live in the light and the other black in the neutral, block to 2 reds

One of the black wires should be in the live at the light. From what you have described I also think you may of put the lives in the live to the light not the loop live which is where I would expect them to be.
