Electricity certificate

Posted by Sarah Rooker, on
Hi, Please could an electrician tell me how long it takes to provide an electrical certificate for the change of a fuseboard? I have been waiting a week and half for one and the electrician I used keeps putting it off saying he will do it but never does....I am beginning to question as to if he is registered to provide this or maybe it just takes a long time to produce?

Hi Sarah, unfortunately it sounds like he may not be registered, it shouldn’t take any longer than 4-5 days for a part p and a copy of the cert

Should be issued on the day of test. Would would then get a certificate from the company who certifies their competency.
