Electric blown, fuse isn't

Posted by Dave Howard, on
My power went out in the kitchen when I opened my microwave. The fuse isn't blown but I went ahead and replaced it any way. It's an old home with type s fuses, not breakers. What can I do now

I would consider having a full consumer unit change, bringing your property unto the current standard. Another option is for you to have a full ECIR which will highlight any defective circuits.

What would you like to do now?
