I'm looking for some advice for a future job that I will need doing. We are looking at a 6kg pendant, which we're yet to buy, but it has very little advice on how to hang it. I'm wondering whether we should be ensuring that the mounting screws are located in a beam or if the four screws will be able to support the weight from some plasterboard raw plugs. We're just trying to establish how big a job it will be before we purchase the light and get someone in to fit it. Any help would be much appreciated.
