You should be provided with a full installation certificate. This can either be a paper based one or like most of us an emailed certificate. I email my certificates whilst I’m on site and make sure that the client receives it before I leave.

They should provide a full NICEIC certificate that would be needed and provided at the end of a full house rewire , if they only doing a some small works they can provide a minors works certification . If they swapping like for like nothing is needed , hope this helps
