Cooking grill 3 kw

Hi i lust brought a s/hand 3kw cooking grill but when it arrived it had only 3 wires with eyelets on them ,can i just remove these and put a household plug on it

As long as that is the total output ) as in if you had everything on) the yes a plug is fine. Thanks dan

Hi Brian, should be ok. 3kw equates to 12a so will be fine on a 13a plug. You just need to be sure it is only 3kw though
