What order to wire light switch into run

I'm wiring up a run of T8 tube lights with twin & earth. Do I run the cable from the fuse box to the tube lights first and finish in the light switch. Or to the light switch first then to the lights and finish on the last one?

You can run to the switch then up to the light.

Hi, I like to run the feed to the switch, and then a SL and N up to the light, that way you have a neutral at the switch. You could run the feed into the first light, link the PL's out and take a feed to switch with SL back to the light and then daisy chain to your next light etc Both will work fine. Regards Mark
