I just installed my new ceiling fan/light fixture, have done a couple in the past. This one also has the remote control feature. That I wired up fine, but my concern is the other part. I attached black to main box black, white to main box white, but there is also a red wire in main box that is capped off, so i just left it alone...but my fan and light seem to not operate correctly. There is a buzz sound id I just put the fan on, but it goes away as soon as I turn on the light(using remote). Should I do something with the red wire then?
