The shower room requires a refurb. The previous builders have done a very bad job and in addition they didn’t create the lighting so that led energy saving bulbs could be placed. They said that energy saving lighting was not possible with the way they carried out the electric work. Now we are getting a refurb and are also hoping to change the lighting to led energy saving, does this require an electrician hence a certificate?
The same for the kitchen where the lights maybe moved around plus they will be replaced with led energy.
We had a quote from new builders who said a certificate is not required and they do not have a part P.
Please advise. Thank you
