Dishwashers are notorious for this . The water leaks through the bottom where the grey plastic part goes in and drips onto the electrics underneath . Hope this helps .

I have added a surge protector extension lead between mains plug socket and dishwasher plug which hasn’t removed the problem.
Anything that I’m missing regarding type of surge protector/requirements for surge protector to work or something else?
