I would like to install dual fuel cooker. I have got a gas one. There is a cooker switch and fuse for cooker in the cupboard in my kitchen however the cable is not attached to the switch and there is no cooker connection point in the kitchen. I have got a proper (Earth) cable. The distance between the cupboard and the cooker is about 1.5m long. Can the switch stay in the cupboard or do I need to install a new one closer to the cooker?
