Hi Margaret, Your electrician should have an ID card with their qualifications on it and they should be able to produce any other certificates of qualifications upon request. You should also find out if your electrician is registered with a governing body, we are members of NICEIC and you can search for us on their website to confirm this. If you suspect your electrician of not having the relevant qualifications or not being a member of a governing body for electricians please don not risk using them.
