What is it if you turn on your oven and it trips the oven trip switch

My relatively new oven has somehow kept knocking out the oven trip switch. I can only guess this is a fuze that needs replacing but could I ask for an electricians opinion on what it sounds like please? The Gas hob still work well, but the oven's electric spark to ignite the gas hob no longer works and each morning the oven trip switch needs to manually be switched back on for some reason... I would appreciate an experts opinion on what this sounds like please>
