We turned off each of the fuses in the fuse box to locate the fuse for an upstairs bedroom, we have a new style fuse box And a old wire style fuse box, from what we were aware the old 30amp fuse ran most of the sockets in the house. We turned the fuses back on and realised the kitchen sockets and some of the sockets in other downstairs rooms are no longer working. Nothing has tripped in fuse box, old style fuses looks fine also, any advice on what could have happened? We have swapped the 30a fuse with another and still nothing, one socket works in kitchen all the others are off, garage no longer has electricity and this was wired to the newer fuse box. I have searched the house for another possible fuse box just incase the kitchen sockets were running off something else and it tripped but I can’t find anything, garage has it’s own fuse box but there is no electricity to garage also
