I'd like to know is it safe to extend plug sockets through a stud/soundproofing wall(work I'm looking to get done but have electrical sockets on the wall)... If it is what should I be looking to get my electrician to do when I post my job. Would want it a. SAFE and b. Soundproofed so sound doesn't escape after the wall is done. Is this a job that needs be signed off? Many thanks
