My bathroom cabinet has 2x T5 fluorescents and has a ballast which I've blown which needs replacing. I bypassed the IR switch with no result. but I can remove its cover and replace the innards if necessary. The problem is that the ballast is stuck-on in the cabinet and I cannot remove it. Can you advise please - I'm 86 but DIY capable.
