Electrical appliances emitting a noise when turned on

Yesterday I noticed a sizzling type noise coming from within my washing machine when turned on at the mains but not at the machine. Thought it was a fault with washing machine but other appliances such as microwave and air fryer are doing the same in dining room. Had an electrician out and he couldn’t find anything wrong the sockets or fuse box but I’m still worried to use my appliances as don’t know what’s causing this. Any ideas ?
