If I posted a job on your site and asked for two people to be contacted to give me a price, how come another contractor contacted me? He started the work immediately without giving a price and since then, by checking the internet have found out that he does dangerous work and has had several dissolved companies. I asked him to quote for a full rewire before I was aware of this and he asked for a 30% up front for tools and materials. When I cancelled the job due to having the information of his history, he is refusing to refund any or all of this money saying it is non-refundable as quoted on his terms and conditions. I was never shown any terms and conditions. Help.
