I am trying to install a video doorbell but it was not getting enough amperage. So, I hooked up a new transformer. The problem is my old transformer had only a live and a neutral wire going into it where the new one also has a green ground which is loose now. I tried tying it into the neutral and binding it to the breaker box, but I am getting no output amperage on my nee transformer. Does this sound like a bad transformer or am I running the wiring wrong? Should I be tying the ground into the neutral bar as well? Thank you!
