My Daughter has recently had some building work done in her flat including installing a new kitchen and rewiring the room. She has noticed that when either the dishwasher or washing machine is on, a nearby socket works on reduced power - for example the kettle doesn't boil, it just gets warm. Is this possible/does this make sense??
